Cry me a river, Kari Lake

Entitlement. It appears to be a common affliction observed in human behavior in the US. Obviously, the affliction is readily apparent in many places worldwide, but its ubiquitous emergence across a wide swath of economic, social, ethnic, and political strata in this country is both appalling and a powerful explanation for bizarre behaviors and expectations. From Kari Lake to Elon Musk, and from right-wing to left-wing nut jobs, expectations of satisfaction for outrageous demands seems to be epidemic.

What a baby! Kari, it’s time to grow up and accept adult responsibilities—instead of acting like an entitled, spoiled brat who pouts, threatens, and blames everyone and everything except herself for her defeat. Come to think of it, I believe most entitled, spoiled bratty kids would be acting in a more mature fashion than Kari.

It’s safe to presume that she wouldn’t be challenging results if she “won”—even if it was within the margin of an auto recount. As it is, she already proclaimed victory as the loser.

What evidently has not yet dawned on the Kari Lakes, Donald Trumps, and their ilk is that US voters are sick of their ceaseless whining, blaming of others, and unwillingness to accept any outcome that doesn’t go their way. Much as the result of crying “wolf” ad nauseam, people with critical thinking skills are crying foul about the claims of these entitled babies.

While Trump obviously popularized his brand of entitlement due to narcissism that seemingly knows no bounds, many similarly-inclined folks have jumped on his bandwagon. Kari is just one of many who feels entitled to satisfaction no matter the circumstances or facts. Bottom line, just as conceited Donald Trump never conceded, so will Kari continue blaming everyone and everything except herself for losing.

Inherent in the mindset of Kari and other “entitleds” must be a belief in P.T. Barnum’s “sucker born every minute” philosophy. Trump used this as his driving force to get into the Oval Office. Kari is trying to follow suit in Arizona.

But, the “suckers” ain’t having it. Kari can huff and puff in an attempt to “blow down the house” that is our system of government, but it won’t be enough. Similarly, I look forward to Donald Trump being out of breath with nothing to show for it but a bunch of bumbling, stumbling BS and self-aggrandizing rhetoric.

To all the entitled crybabies, I say, “Get a pacifier and suck on it” until you’re ready to quit attempting to suck the life out of our democratic republic.
